Half Moon Bay Yacht Club and our Coronado 15 Fleet are, once again, proud to sponsor and host the C15 North American Championships.
All C15s and all skill levels are invited to race.
A goal of 40 competing boats has been set,
with 15 HMBYC/SF Bay Area skippers already committed to racing.
HMBYC has recently completed an expansion of its clubhouse,
and now has hot water showers for sailors to enjoy once ashore.
Half Moon Bay is a delightful place to visit, with fun things to do nearby for the entire family to enjoy.
There are many local hotels to choose from,
or the HMBYC can find you a housing host for the regatta.
A limited number of HMBYC owned boats may be available to be borrowed for the regatta for sailing teams that cannot bring their own boats.
Preliminary Regatta Schedule:
Friday, August 12
Syd Corp Regatta (Qualifying Series) – 3 races held to divide the fleet into A and B fleets. Awards and Syd Corp Perpetual Trophy presented to winners
Saturday, August 13
NAC – 6 races held, with entertainment/dinner in the evening
Sunday, August 14
NAC – 3 races held, Awards, and Closing BBQ
